So I have a question regarding the primaris marines included in the dark imperium box set. If I were to decide that they are part of the Space Wolfs codex do they then receive any space wolf specific attributes? Or would they need to be a part of a larger space wolf army? In other words does each marine inherit any special perks by just being space wolf or is there more to it?

At the moment the only difference between a unit of SW Primaris and those of any other chapter are that the SW Primaris can buff and be buffed by other units with the Space wolves keyword.

So they could just as easily be a band of primaris candyfloss marines and join a space wolf army and have they same as primaris space Wolfs marines?

Which means that a space wolf themed army consisting og only primaris units would be exactly the same as any other primaris exclusive army?

The same way an Alaitoc army and an Iyanden army are only separated by their ability to get Ilic or Yriel, yes.

To sum up, there are currently no Primaris chapter specific rules in the booklet with the box set, or the Imperium I Index. You'll have to wait for a Primaris codex, or maybe the Space Wolf one to see if anything does change on this. Right now, all Primaris Marines are exactly the same, regardless of Chapter keyword.

Perfect. I just wanted to know if there would be any immediate perks based on the choice of codex or not, considering the dark imperium box set.
