Nottingham (yay!)

So I've got my Warhammer Store Opening Terminator Captain, with his Melta bomb firing Power Fist, does he have 8ed rules like the Imperial Space Marine?

I don’t think so. Although the TDA captain does have the option to have a GL put on their power fist if they take one. But the sword goes back to being non-WYSWYG and purely ceremonial, as he has more weapons on him then is allowed.

In this case, I'd do as Nevelon suggests; ignoring the sword seems OK to me, since it's sheathed; it's not like the model is waving it around and you're saying "no, just ignore that!.

Feel free to contact GW about this, on their FB page(s) or by email - it might be something they'd consider looking at when it comes for them to write 8th edition Codex: Space Marines.
