I googled Kaha studios, but nothing came up (except for this thread actually). Is it a small studio? Or does Kaha stand for something?

She's one of the new wave Polish painters. Very, very distinct style - I'd almost describe it as 'Bohun on shrooms'.

She's done an Alarielle (and another Archaon) that's also gobsmacking. Regularly posts on the 'Eavier metal facebook group and a few other places.

I do wonder how these minis look with a white background.

I think she did quite well for herself at Hussar recently, so I think they're probably pretty good in the flesh, too. But I know what you mean, the photography is perfect for this style of paintwork.
