Hey all! I'm Aaron Wilson, 25 from Harlow and I love frikking love the Horus Heresy. My chosen legion was World Eaters, for many reasons. I love Angron, Kharn and the story behind the name of the legion. On top of that, who doesn't love marines foaming at the mouth to utterly annihilate the enemy. "A Pacified enemy is still an enemy".

My legion is set in the time frame just after the Istvaan Massacre, finally free from the shackles of the imperium and full of anger. I am going to try get across in my a legion still fresh from istvaan flexing there now freedom to bring utter bloodshed to those who cross there path, I hope you like them! I'll keep this updated with regular progress, but here's what I have so done so far.

Greetings, Your Legion - World Eaters look fantastic.

I like the the Power Armored Assault troops & the Butcher Terminators.

I look forward to seeing the Land Raider painted to completion, I noticed in one of the pictures that is was sitting in view.

Very effective colour scheme and they look the part.

Now for the critique...your paints look massively thick. To the point of obscurring detail heavily on the close-up model you've shown. It's really hindering the final aesthetic.

The metallics look exceptionally thick/heavy. In general I think you need to water down your paints a bit (as easy as just wetting the brush most of the time). Metallics could use a heck of a lot of watering down - or even try drybrushing them over a thin black undercoat.

You've got plenty of nice detail on the model, but a lot of it is getting clogged up!

I love it, though second the above in terms of thickness, particularly the white. Are you using white primer? Love the use of blood, not too extreme, not too subtle, nice and prominent, as it should be for the twelfth.
