Technically, Ta'lok was at the banquet, but only the Angel saw him, and no one realized that the cloaked figure wasn't human, so I assume there won't be much to think about on my end, if at all, Irish?

Also, I'm just now trying to catch up, I missed everything after the banquet so far. Got to get cracking, I suppose.

Not at all! I only had the idea from Evergreen's poor Nids getting their scaly rears kicked by the trees.

That was a really fun snippet, by the way. I got a proper 'recruiting a crack team of badasses' vibe from it. Like something you'd see in an action film that's the good kind of cheesy.

Well, Ta'lok threw the knife that killed the grot assassin, and the 'mysterious cloaked figure fleeing the scene' that the Angel saw was the Shaper himself. He couldn't really show up at an important Imperial meeting, listening in on future plans, and not have some Imperials want him killed, so he hid as a back figure, still listened in, and saved the governor before anyone realized who and what he was.

My pain is a lesson to all: Tree = Bad. When given the option to fight or flee, you flee. When asked to attack the trees, you don't. When asked to poke the tree, poke your commander in the eye. Do not fight the trees. Or actually do so because it is less enemies to fight. Yeah, everyone go attack the trees for me. I'll be the janitor and clean up all the biomass you leave around.

Doesn't sound very chaplain-like to duel your brother over "Who is greater." Chaplains are the spiritual leaders of the Astartes and they should act like it.

Not the Astartes way TS, you of all people should know that. Plus do you really see the Carcharadons having a debate?
