Is the only way to field Officio Assassinorum with my Blood Angels in a Battleforged army in 8th edition, by using the Auxiliary Support Detachment (Command Point -1)?
The Officio Assassinorum has no HQ so I can't use the Vanguard Detachment with that army correct?

You can toss them right in with your blood angels. They only take up an elite slot.

If your really wanted you vanguard could be rowboat girlyman and 6 assassins. They all share the imperium keyword.

The only restriction on a detachment is that everyone has to share at least one Faction keyword. Assassins are Imperium and can be stuck into any Imperium detachment they want.

Ah thanks! That's what I assumed from reading the rulebook first, but Battlescribe doesn't really let you add cross faction :/
