Hey Gents,
I run an Ork Horde Army and I recently got stomped out by DG, with heavy marines and poxwalkers. Any suggestions? The higher toughness, combined with decent armor saves, and then that 5+ GBP just seems a bit overpowered. Just looking for thoughts and suggestions. Thankss in advance.

You can bring 4 boys per marine.
The DG are tougher than standard Chaos Marines (ofc) but they are also the most expensive.
Weight of Fire and S4/5 weapons.
Doesn't matter the strength of the weapon. He still needs a 5+ on DR.
Otherwise, Damage 2+ weapons. He needs to make 2 5+ DR's.
Poxwalkers with Typhus and Necrosius are actually pretty tough. But a decent investment. 2 HQ's just to make the poxwalkers "decent".
Just be thankful you weren't fighting Horrors with their 4++.

Got many weapons that do multiple wounds, they'll be your best bet against all the FNP type rolls now since for every failed armour/invulnerable save you have to make that many FNP type rolls times by the weapons wounds value

Take some Flash Gits, 4+ BS with reroll with an ammo runt, 3 str 5 ap -2 shots, hell have to make a save on a 5+ then another 5+

Oh really? I did not know that, I thought it was just each hit you took, not per damage. Wow that's interesting. I just find it ridiculous as an old horse with a painful isn't even as good as their generic 5+ FNP.
