My opinion having no knowledge of what you have to work with...

For 10 extra points, Pask is an absolute no-brainer to me. Unless I've missed a faq, he can give orders to his own tank since he can order characters, unlike the regular tank commander. 2+ vs 3+ and issues two orders vs one for the regular commander as well.

I hate taking BS 4+ (old BS 3) lascannons. I'd lose the LC on the regular LR and have 2 with 3 HB. Or take the saved points and put a HF on each in case it got charged.

Ratlings look good on paper, but I haven't seen them in action yet.

HB are the way to go. I'm weaning myself off auto cannons. They were the way go to in 7th, but HBs are 8 points vs 15 for the AC. I'm working towards 3 HBs to every 1 AC.

If I was taking Scout Sentinels, they'd have HFs. Earlier comment on BS 4+ LCs applies.

SW squad with 3 flamers looks like money to me, but might need a ride. I might lose a couple sentinels and take a Taurox. 85 points with 4 S7 D2 shots and gets those flamers in range and protected.

Hellhounds look nasty this edition, but I haven't seen them in action.

Love the 3 HFs on the close range Demolisher.

3 HW squads with all mortars is 81 points vs 93 for Wyvern with HB. That's 9 D6 shots vs 4 D6 re-rolling wounds.

Generally speaking, Grenade Launchers just aren't worth it. They're crappy mortars. Scrounge up the points and replace them with Plasma guns.

Alternatively, use the grenade launcher points to upgrade all your Autocannons to Lascannons. There are almost no targets where an autocannon is better than a lascannon. Someone did the math, but things like Rough Riders is about it. Even at BS 4+ it just doesn't work out well by the numbers.

I don't see any delivery methods for your Special Weapon Squad or your Command Squad. Any competent opponent is going to wipe them out in the first volley if they're just on the table. Am I missing something?

edit: The last comment is entirely subjective, but I think you're over committed on your armor, without the units needed to protect them. I'd drop at least one tank and add more infantry if I were you. But that's more of a personal thing.

Sounds good. I dropped the Elites and added two more infantry squads and a mortar squad. Replaced the AC with HB and plasma guns.
