No, of course not! /s Read the rules for the Fight phase, specifically part 4, Choose Melee Weapon. There are only 8 pages so it shouldn't be hard to find!

If you have an attack value greater than 0 then you can attack in melee using only your base Strength stat. That's about it. Otherwise why bother giving models with no melee weapon an attack value of 4 such as the Death Jester?

Read the rules for the Fight phase, specifically part 4, Choose Melee Weapon. There are only 8 pages so it shouldn't be hard to find!
Yes; YOU should; or at least what the op queried.
Fight phase#4 tells you exactly what to do when you have no melee weapon.
