Could be things that are hard to assemble, don't look good aesthetically, and so forth.

For the Harlequin troupes I'm building I'm annoyed by how all the arms with the Fusion Pistols always have them pointed upwards rather than pointing at a target in the distance, which only looks good with one of the arms with the Embrace or with the Caress. In addition I'm not a fan of the sculpt of the flying side-kicking Harlequin which doesn't look good with any of the special weapons, and is always the one in every box that's guaranteed to be built with the standard blade and Shuriken Pistol.

Skitarii robes. Filling gaps is annoying.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Anything that requires gapfilling. It's the most unsatisfactory thing for a modeler to have everything prepped and cleaned and then that one piece that just refuses to fit properly.

The other one is any mold lines that goes straight over ribbing of some kind. Like the plasma coils on a plasma guns and cannons, and those that go over SM joints (you know what I'm talking about). Trying to get the mold line off of that without just obliterating the ribbing detail is a time consuming and delicate process.

GW's recent obsession with swirly & smoky gak and the skull acne on recent Chaos models.

besides the obvious lines & gaps; skulls and purity seals EVERYWHERE. I don't want my marines to be goths with lots of ribbons won at the local fair. I go out of my way to model around it, but there's only so much a lad can do.

Definitely mold likes over fine detail like fingers and ribbed hoses. Those suck to clean. I also have a love/hate relationship with GW's new multipiece models. I love how they have much more 3d volume, but I hate painting sub-assemblies, and then gluing them together, otherwise there is detail you can't reach.

The "fade" in many plastic models. Some kits are far worse than others. Sections where definition is ignored and a feature randomly smears into nothingness. Zero definition or idea what/how to paint a certain area because it just fades into nothing. Big on cheaper single piece plastics (old LOTR goblins were about the worst I've ever seen). Common on the sides and underarms of various models.

The giant long gaps on Wraithknight models. (my woe for today)

The gap in the flying Hive Tyrant's tail. It's kind of too thin a gap to easily fill, takes time and care to fill cleanly, yet so thick that it's clearly visible. Really grinds my gears.

The fade which Elbows mentions is the worst of all, I think. Fill lines on tubes aren't so horrible. I mean, they're bad enough that I am tempted to just cut the tube off and make new ones, but they're not the worst thing in the world.

Have you seen the Battle for Skull Pass gobbo tent? the edges of the skulls look like someone used the photoshop smear tool all the way to the seam.

When fingers on a model melt together like with Ork boy shoota arms. Second on the list would be when mold lines go over delicate detail as other posters have said. Bolters and Plasma Guns are a PITA to clean up because of that. Third would be that pieces that create gaps even if they are perfectly alligned. Empire State Troops halberds are a two piece assembly with the head being a seperate part. If you do not trim down the halberd head you will end up with a gap. If you do that the halberd head piece that connects to the shaft may be too small/warped/big to allign properly which requires filing. If you do not file properly you will ruin the shape of the halberd shaft.

Don't even get me started on pieces that will create gaps in places that are damn near inaccessible.

Thought for the day: Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
