I wonder if anyone had any ideas for how to represent Giant Chaos Spawn.
Whether it be alternate models or cool conversions.

I am not a fan of the Forgeworld one and would like to try something different.

If money isn't an issue, the Slaughterbrute from AoS could work as a perfect Khornate Spawn. There's also the Jabberslythe, Cockatrice and Chimera that would all work (with or without conversions).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Nice ideas thanks.
I was also looking at the Tyranid Haruspex.
I think it could work with a little converting.

The slaughterbrute also makes the mutalith vortex beast, which a lot of people (including me) thinks was the inspiration for the current haruspex (tickletongue and whatnot).

If you can get creative with the slaughterbrute kit, you might be able to get two spawns out of it. Alternatively, if it's too big, see if you can score a Khorograth off of someone. It should be roughly the appropriate size if you include some tentacles or talons.

Connecticut

I use 3 Mutaliths.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.

I'd say the maggot lords from Warhammer fantasy have the right size and would be perfect for a nurgle spawn.

For Nurgle Kromlech has a range of larger daemons, that are too large for a normal spawn but too small for a GUO. They look pretty gruesome, too.

I use zombie dragons in my NL army.

Help me, Rhonda. HA!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
While browsing Kromlech I found this guy.

He's disgustingly perfect. A giant bloated mess.
Just what a huge Spawn should be

Is there a 'visual theme' that you are working on for your army? I find, when doing conversions, that this helps with the work.
