Hi everyone, I'd like to start collecting a new army: the Adeptus Mechanicus

In my club we're playing with 50 powers armies, so I'd like to ask you what should I start buying to create a good list


I already own an Imperial Knight Warden, should I play it with them?

I would recommend getting yourself some Kastellan Robots and if you can buy a couple of the get started boxes. You essentially are getting a Dune Crawler for free in each box and it has some of the best AA Dakka in the game. You will want to probably make your infantry into Vanguard, but a 5 man squad of Rangers can be mighty nice character killers. The Destroyers aren't that good for the price considering the crawler and Kastellan Robots. A couple boxes of Sicaran Infiltrators and you can round it out with a couple of Ballistarii/Dragoons. Also get yourself Belisaurius Cawl. His ability to get the canticle you want, reroll misses as well as being a tough ol' Chap is a necessity. You can certainly play your Knight with your guys. If you want it cheap money wise, 2 Start Collecting and Cawl will get you a 1000pt / 50pl army

More dune crawlers are never a bad idea.
