I have always been interested in the Dark Mechanicus and as 8th seems to be the first at least semi decent 40K edition in 2 decades, now is as good a time as any to ignite the flesh forges and inscribe the pentagramatic wards.

As it stands I will be using the standard Chaos list which will contain 3 large units of Cultists, 3 Forgefiends, a Hellbrute and some Rubic Marines (actually some small deamon engines but the Rubic rules fit reasonably well) lead by 2 Warpsmiths.

I was going to make some Servitors to use as Cultists but I wasn't able to source suitable bodies so I used Frostgrave cultists as a base and some Puppets war heads/arms and Anvil Industry autoguns. The cultists are far too dynamic to make servitors but they work well enough to make some corrupted menials.

My first batch of Cultists. I'm fairly happy with them although they still need a bit of cleaning.

Promising start, and great army concept, looking forward to seeing more.
