I just played a few games with new repulsor and I have to say im pretty impressed! It shoots A LOT. So much that I'm going to have to make tokens to better divvy up the shots when when Im declaring them. They are fairly tough as well, I just need to find the perfect unit to transport in it. hellblasters seem great but that means they aren't shooting. Intercessors are a solid choice and I have yet to try Agressors or Reivers. Also parking it next to G-Man is stupidly great!
Whats your experience with repulsors?

Haven't faced it but the sheer amount of Dakka is intimidatiing. It can only transport Primaris units?

Unfortunately yes, but I think its worth taking on its own, the fly keyword letting you get out of close combat is worth the price of admission alone! Too bad Sgt. Chronus hasn't been allowed to take a turn behind the wheel

Dont forget theyre ugly as hell. I think Id rather lose a game than buy that kit... But then, Im not a fan of the primaris stuff in general, so Im pretty biased.

Not yet used a Repulsor but now building one. I think the rapid fire Hellblasters or Aggressors may be the most worthy unit to put in one. since their awesome firepower only work at short range (i.e 15 inches to 18 inches) so they are likely get shot to death when footslogging across the field. Reviers has DS / infiltrate type deployment so no need a transport, Intercessors may get ignored unless they are sitting on vital objective because they lack real punch.

Its fairly impressive in person, and the kit has a pretty good look to it, and there is a ton of detail and options. Plus the rules are fairly robust, machine spirit, fly, tons of shots, and even a -2 to charge mechanic! I just need to experiment with loadouts and people to put inside of it. So far I am enjoying the full Dakka version with twin HBs, Heavy Onslaught, Onslaught, 2 Krakstorm, Icarus Krak, 2 Stormbolters, 2 fragstorm, and Ironhail stubber. I might switch out the Heavy onslaught and the HBs for lascannons, but I am thinking that the range on the Heavy onslaught is worth keeping around for the number of shots.

It's possible the model is like the Centurions. Centurions look dumb as heck on paper, in pictures, and on the website. But when you actually GET one to look at, they are actually pretty cool. Maybe the Repulsor is like that - looks stupid in 2D pictures and on the intarwebz, but is nifty IRL.

Dunno i like the model.
Though i also didnt glue about 20% of the crap that comes with it.
as for in game
so far about 2 games. they perform ok (though there is nothing i can do about a landraider making 80% of its 5+ saves against he las cannons.)
i feel like my primary issue with it is actually using it as a transport rather than a main tank.
i keep waiting to pull out the 5-10 hell blasters early to get value out of them rather than waiting till T2 to pop em.

I magnetized mine, or at least the HB/Lascannon and the LasTalon/Heavy Onslaught. I figure there was in no circumtsance I would not want to have the regular onslaught for the extra ten points and the Icarus rocket pod is a better choice than the others. As for the Storm Bolters I find them to be far more reliable than the fragstorm and I glued those on as well.

My take on the Repulsor is that it should be primarily a battle tank. So for me I do one of two things with it. I either place a 10 man Hellblaster unit in it to keep them safe if I get seized on or know I am going second, or I put all my characters in it (I usually run captain, lieutenant, ancient, apothecary, and sometimes librarian) along with a 5 man Intercessor or Hellblaster unit. If Hellblasters are inside I disembark them turn one and embark Intercessors on it. Then as it moves I use the intercessors (usually 10 total) to get out and hoof it where they need to go along the way.
