I was flipping through the online catalogue at GW to complete my Chaos army, when I noticed just how expensive the Chaos Spawn kit was. For $41 USD, you basically got two 33 point models, which seemed like a lot of dollars for not a lot of models on the board (though granted the spawn models look pretty cool and it'd be a great painting and modelling project).

$41 to 66 points of models = 1.6 (for every $1 you spent on this kit, you got 1.6 points worth of models)

Curious, I decided to do a few more calculations for Chaos ...

Favoured of Chaos Box Set (15x Possessed and 1 Daemon Prince)
$105 to approx. 510 points of models = 4.9

Chaos Terminators
$50 to approx. 200 points of models = 4.0

Chaos Rhino
$39 to approx. 72 points of models = 1.85

So my question to Dakka is what are the most efficient and least efficient kits in terms of Dollars to Points? I'm imagining the "Get Started" boxes have amazing value, but I'm curious as to what kits do not. Also, I'm wondering if there is a "GW Average", or a normal range of pricing ratio, where $1 should get you between x points and y points of models and anything below x is inefficient purchasing and anything above y is efficient purchasing.

Thanks!
