Was reading the 8th edition codex and the Chaos Space Marines unit entry on page 128 says "One model may take a Chaos Icon" it does not specifically state only the Icon of vengeance can be taken like say the Khorne Berzerkers entry does for the Icon of wrath.

When I look at the Icon descriptions on page 153, it explicitly states that the icons are restricted to units relevant to that alignment. So Berzerkers - Icon of wrath, Rubric Marines - Icon of Flame etc etc, seems to firmly indicate that unless the keywords indicate the alignment on the unit entry, the corresponding Icon is a no go.

That being said , are Chaos Space Marines restricted to the icon of vengeance because their entry lacks the necessary keywords to permit using the others?
Or am I misunderstanding this?
