I apologize in advance if this is not the right forum section. It seemed like the most appropriate spot.
I have been looking for a site that will sell bitz (ex: melee weapons for my BT army) that will let me pull together a solid squad without having to buy additional boxes of units. I found a couple (not sure if listing websites is ok with TOS or not) of places based out of the UK, and the prices are a bit high imo. Do any of you have a favorite company/site that you use to purchase extra's?

Honestly, the most common place I find them is ebay. Other options are Kromlech, Anvil Industry, Puppetswar, and Max Mini.

I've looked for bits a few times and I'm pretty sure the best place is ebay as ebay bits sellers probably scour the sites daily and any of the popular bits are bought up completely to re-sell on ebay. Which would explain why the price of bits is so high.
A hit and miss method (but you're likely to get better value for your money) is to find random bits piles that individuals are selling on ebay. Not only did I get some really good bits out of some of those, but I've also been able to build entire squads.
1 auction, I was actually able to build 3 dreads out of with the purchase of a couple more bits elsewhere.

Wait, so people will put together lots of random bits to sell? Have not seen that, but damn I bet you can get some good finds that way.... as evidence of your 3 dreads! Love those brutes!

Yep
just a week or 2 ago, a seller had about 10 or so auctions of different piles of random bits. Many Termies, marines, landspeeders and such. I was looking for other things so didn't really try to win any.

GW slaps down bits resellers, which is why there isn't a legit store for them and your best bet is overpriced on ebay.
Recasting your own with greenstuff/millput and instamold is a good way to go for non fragile bits.

Hoard o' Bits, Hobby Titan and Window Box all sell bits both individually and in sets. Hoard o' Bits and Hobby Titan even have their own web stores with meticulously cataloged and photographed bits which you can easily search through and order directly.

For the actual parts, eBay is the best bet by far.
Sadly not that cheap for some parts though.
If it's weapons or such things, check kromlech or spellcrow and other such sites as they have a solid variety of bits.
If it's one exclusive part that's not fragile, stock up on instamould and green stuff and make a 2 part or press mould for it.
