I got a feeling it will be back and updated. It’s too iconic. All the Tau stuff removed recently was for a remaster on the model. Perhaps a faint hope?

RIP gargantuan squiggoth.
Well, at least we have Forgeworld's 1,202,156,285,246th dreadnought sculpt coming...that's...exciting...maybe they'll make some kind of superheavy for primaris marines...
God their stuff feels so hollow at this point.

Most likely because the 1202156285246 Dreadnought sculpts sell better than a large, expensive squiggoth.
So they keep making Dreadnoughts, and people buy the Dreadnoughts, either because FW don't make anything else, or because they want the Dreadnoughts - hence, a self-fulfilling circle.

The Rogue Idol was remolded... so this will be too. Squiggoths are just too amazing to be gone for long.

Jokes aside, yes this is a sad day. This is to the Orks as the Baneblade is to the IG.
I honestly do hope that they make a plastic kit of it, since GW has shown that giant monsters isn't exactly impossible now. But I doubt that's happening in our lifetimes.

I'm actually quite surprised that GW has never released a plastic squigoth of any size. A "normal" squigoth would be the equivalent of a Fantasy stegedon, and that was pretty well received. It would be about the same size and sprue layout.
