I had the idea on Monday when I was riding my bike and finished most of it yesterday. This is my first 'happy' model so thats good I guess.

I initially wanted to print her smaller at about 52mm from feet to antennae, but I think a larger size suits her better so Im currently running a print at 62mm. I learned a lot doing this one,
it was the first time I HAD to use make/use a rig to get the pose right. I knew I wanted the torso/hips twisted naturally but she has an elongated neck, legs and arms, so using a rig was
easier and preserved the base mesh better than what Ive done up until this point, which is traditional transposing. Also the first time I booleaned most of the model, so she has slots
for her wings, a slot in the mushroom for her legs, and the mushroom slots into the base.

This is actually a genre of model I dont have much experience in painting wise, the whole fantasy thing has never interested me, but I look forward to trying it.

Interesting and overall pretty damn good.

Her backside looks very off, however. Very rigid, narrow and stuck out.

Dude very cool.

love the skin textures

my only niggle is the hard square edges on the wings.

Nice sculptung, especially the textures. I agree her rump could use a little more attention. Fuller, maybe?

Thanks! Her butt is actually 'accurate', it was the main issue when rigging and I did a lot of reference checking (saying that with a straight face). Its just what the structure does when bent that way.

I know what you mean, some stuff Ive learned this past year when it comes to 3D printing made that choice for me...because Im using negative space in the wings, the thinnest portions of the wings determined the largest. Its just for the safety
of a consistent print. Id rather they be thinner and rounded as well.

Yea same thing, her butt actually got the most attention, lol. It was a really frustrating experience to get it anatomical, if her leg had less bend in it then her butt would get fuller.

Leaping ahead I got the thing printed and out on the market in 6 days, it consumed me for a while. Now Im working on painting my own version, I dropped the base because I realized nobody would want it for this style of model.

These have all been primed in Mr. Surfacer 500, if it wasnt so expensive to get here Id use it so much more often.
