It's based mostly on what I have since earlier attempts to start an Ork army and things I've bought in buy/sell groups. How's it looking right now?

I know boyz are really, really good this ed. Should I buy enough buyz so I can footslog a 30-boy horde? I want to keep the trukk, maybe have Gretchin in it, and drop them off at objectives?

And the Battlewagon, I want something big to soak up fire, is it a waste to just have nobz + the two warbosses in it?

I haven't played any 8th ed yet, but I have used Gretchin to great effect. As in, no one shoots at them because they're an otherwise useless unit, but they sit on Objectives and cost almost nothing. I feel like Battlewagons are always worth it and in 8th they are a million times more survivable than ever. I'd save up and put 20 boys in the 'Wagon and dump your nobz in the trukk.

I think you may struggle with so few bodies. I’m always wary of loading Orks up with too much wargear, given how relatively fragile they are. If I were you I’d look at ditching some of the excessive equipment and bringing more lads.

This is good advice. However, I've found that Nobs benefit from an upgrade. I don't like the power stabba because it hits at strength 5 which it seems bounces off most armor in 8th. I like the big choppas for the +2 strength. You know those will do damage when they hit (and there is not -1 to hit like a PK). Keep your guys loaded with shootas or sluggas. Combi weapons are -1 to hit which mean you are only hitting on 6's.

Edit: Trukks are great this edition as well. They hold objectives and are not as easy to blow up as before. I haven't tried battle wagons yet. Also, think about a getting flyer for heavy support. They are also quite effective.
