looking for some help converting a biped defiler.

Just buy any of the Dust Tactics walkers and chop up the top. There is a superb "chassis" for making a (admittedly somewhat large) defiler but they're pricy. The big four-legged Axis walkers.

Yeah two legs.
I can find cool examples on Google of course but i have a hard time figuring out what part is what.

Yep, and there are loads of big clunky two-leg Dust Tactics models...almost the entire US and Axis walker line.
