So... The guy I usually play against, has just started a new army.. Beastclaw raiders and all ready told me his plan for a 2000 point list. something like this:

Frostlord on stonehorn
Stonehorn beastriders
Stonehorn beastriders
Stonehorn beastriders
frost sabres
12 ogors as allies..

Meanwhile, I have found my old Dwarfs (Dispossessed/ironweld arsonal) army, and really want to give them a shot, since they've gotten their own alligence in the new GHB.
But I have never played them in aos, only back in fantasy.
My list will be something like this.

Warden king
Runelord
Runelord
20 warriors
20 warriors
20 hammerers
20 irondrakes
10 thunderers
10 quarerellers
Allies:
Cogsmith
Canon
Organ gun

Is there anyone here, who have experience with disspossessed in aos, or just some ideas on how to beat those god d*mn beastclaw raiders?
To me it really looks like an uphill battle no matter what I do.
Any input will be greatly appriciated

Cheers!

You'll want to abuse the massive unit discount on warriors as much as possible, also note they can have both great weapons and shields (they all have monkey grip). Max size warrior units are the strongest thing dispossessed have. Your elite infantry (hammerers, ironbreakers, irondrakes) are unfortunately sub-par for their points unless you are taking the massive unit discount. Longbeards you take in minimum size units to use their old grumblers rule, any role they would serve on the front line is better served by warriors. Thunderers and quarellers are solid, you'll only ever want to take them as minimum size (objective camping) or maximum size and never as 20-man units due to how their size-scaling benefits work. Allying in some Ironweld for artillery is a pretty good idea and you seem to be on top of that.

Thanks Ninth!

Yea looking at the elite units, I thought they were a bit lack luster compared to their point tag.
What do you think about this then?

Warden king (general)
Warden king (extra command ability from longbeards)
Runelord
10 long beards
10 long beards
40 warriors
40 warriors
10 thunderers/quarrellers
30 thunderers/quarrellers
Allies
Canon
Organ gun
Cogsmith
2000 point total.
This gives me an ekstra command ability, and an 8" bubble of re roll 1's to wound because of longbeards.
What do you think, Thunderers or quarrellers. To me it seems thunderers would be better vs. beastclaw.?

thanks again
