Question for anyone who has the kit, how many bubonic axes can you arm the squad with? From the website it just looks like one which is disappointing if true. This leads to the further, forum appropriate question, does anyone have any good bit suggestions or conversions? They are scaled up compared to normal marines so most any bits I have would look off.

Only two come in the box. If you are game for kitbashing I highly recommend obtaining the weapon arms from the Putrid Blightkings box because it will give you all of the beautiful little Nurgle-ish weapons you need.

I have been working on a close-combat DG army, the P&M blog for which is here if you're interested:

Great, thanks for the help on both counts.

Man, those kitbashes are amazing! Really wishing I could justify buying the Blightkings box now.....

I didn't buy the whole box, just the weapons. They ran around $10 USD from a bits seller.

I think the images linked speak for themselves, but I add my voice to absolutely recommend to go hunting nurgle bits from fantasy. There are even more weapons than those shown, and you could be lucky and find some scythe, flay-bell and glaive from some character kit.
Happy hunting!

Generic characters disappearing? Elite units of your army losing options and customizations? No longer finding that motivation to convert?

Yep, the Blightkings kit alone has all those bits mentioned. I am going to use the scythe to convert a Lord of Contagion. The Blightkings box includes, I believe, 6 axes, 1 bell flail, 1 cleaver, 1 scythe, 7 swords, 1 icon of corruption, 1 mace, 1 staff, and a large bell that would work perfectly for a Blightbringer. There pretty much isn't a single part in the box that you couldn't use in some way.
