This is what I was going to ask. I like the minis so far, but material and price are the deal makers or breakers.
PS: does anyone else have Bittersweet Symphony stuck in his or her head now?
As i said before materal is resign, the prise is a bit lower than anyone at the same size.
Models are shipped unassambled and unpainted.

Theophony wrote: It all looks great , my only concern is the rules themselves. I realize you are not a native English speaker by your posts here. I have no problem with that, but if the rules don’t get a good grammar check it will have a very negative impact upon the game. There are many games on the market which look great, and even have good rules, but never reach the mainstream because good translation is not considered a priority. Confrontation is probably the biggest example of this, but other games like Alchemy never reached enough people because the language barrier was run into and the barrier won.
Good luck, I know I want some of these pieces from the preview.
You are right we are not native english speakers but for the ruling purpose we asked the proffessional translator, and he is working on every wordings and rules, in our rolebook.
Also we are planing to involve a proffesional lawyer for a rules wording cheking.

Davor wrote: Looks great. The thing that will kill it for me, is price and how to get. Yes I know you need to make a profit, but one reason why I don't buy Forge World is because of shipping and can only get through online.
I can accept the online aspect if not available in my local friendly gaming store, but it will matter about prices in Canadian funds.
If that is good, yes will pick up a few minis, BUT to keep collecting will need great fluff/story/history to your world. Looking forward to this and the rules. Need great rules as well.
Good luck and looking forward to more.
Thank you for your reply!
About the fluff you can read a first opening novel about our world here http://www.vergeofwar.com/?cat=7 its name if Griffon 22-4 and its the beggining of the great saga, and in it you will fing a few spoilers of the races to come.
Can't wait to hear more about some of the other factions.
Models look great.
We are planing a 25-40 models for the standart tournament size, but this is a bit later. For now its 10-15 miniatures per side.

A few dozen more models to add to my get painted pile
OK so looking at the website - is the Grey Alien on the platform about normal 28/32mm scale - ie are the raptors big like Utahraptor size - cost if so thats great - any chance of some comparison shots with other ranges?
You mean a photo of your miniature near some famous minis like SM or Warjack? To compare the scale.

Davor wrote: Checked the website out. Since I don't shop online very much, how does this work? By that I mean what funds are they in? Did it automatically know where I am and those are in Canadian funds?
Also how about shipping?
Last question is, some of the pics show a few units. Are all the units in it or just one? Surprised about the price. You get all that for $24? So can you please tell me, how much this would cost me if I bought this in Canadian funds and shipping. Also how much if I bought the $100 pack and how much in Canadian it would be total with shipping and taxes etc

I am not the sharpest tool in the shed or brightest light bulb, I can't tell what kind of system this really is. If so how does this differ from say GW Fantasy/Age of Sigmar/40K or say Warmahordes IGOUGO system? While I will get the minis for my collection, for me at least, not talking about other people would like a different system than the IGOUGO system.
This is not to sound like a complaint but I find too many IGOUGO systems it's hard to compete with 40K in my area at the moment so need something that plays a bit differently from 40K to get people into this. Just trying to help. I fully understand if the money is in the IGOUGO system just speaking of me so might not make money if you don't do IGOUGO way.
It's one of those, if it plays like 40K, might as well play 40K sadly. How will this stand out so I can try and sell the gaming group this.
About shipping:
You are paying whith your credit card, canadian dollard automatically exchanged to US dollars(current exchange rate is 1=0.7887 USD) so for a First contact pack you will pay 78.8 canadian dollars + delivery. We got 2 options standart its 7.8 canadain dollars and 1-2 weeks, and premium 31 canadian dollar and 2 days UPS or FEDEX delivery.
So if you are сhoosing a standart option you will totally pay: 78.8+7.8+Your bank payment if any = 86.6 canadian dollars for 10 miniatures + poster.
About rules:
In your rules we are trying to blend the 40k and Warmahordes rules and give it some tactical flex the original sistems didnt have.
Firts thing is that you build your own comander using the skill chart in fraction rulebook(it will be released soon)
Second every unit have a special skills that can be used only once ped battle to release its full combat power, so the most interesting part for us(developers) and the few testers that helped us testing the game was, to use such a skill this the most effect.
We are preparing some gameplay videos, to show all of it better.
New story and art:
“Alright, Mary, we just listen,” said Nag calmly, “We listen and we don’t force our way in. You speak only when you’re spoken to, and when you do, do it clean and to the point. And get rid of that self-satisfied look on your face.”
“Yessir”, the girl smiled vulturously.
“And the main rule?”
“We hide our thoughts,” Wasp recited the studied phrase, “and never show off our abilities.”
“That’s a good girl”, replied Nag with no sign of any emotions.
Two humans walked into the central fleet command chamber. Enormous Shork champions of the honor guard let them into the invasion’s brain center without any questions. The hall buzzed like a hive. Dozens of Seit discussed the plan’s final details. Several holomaps represented the theater of a future conflict. Nag and his apprentice crossed the hall ignoring everyone and walked up to the fleet commander, despot Ssyyld.
“My lord,” said Nag.
“Greetings,” replied the admiral briefly and returned to his counselors, “…so, considering the intelligence at our disposal, enemy forces are insufficient to conduct the planned research. I insist on delaying the offensive and taking time for thorough preparations. Possibly, we should conduct several sabotage actions.”
Some of the Seit mumbled in approval, and Ssyyld looked at the human. The Seit was about one and a half meters tall, but it seemed like he looked down at Nag.
“Of course,” the human ignored the gaze, “that’s where you’ll need me. We don’t want a full-scale conflict, just a test of force at a convenient location.”
“That is correct,” nodded one of the critics, “but there are no ships of main classes in the designated sectors.”
Nag smiled patronizingly:
“Oh, they will be there. When the time is right. Did I ever let you down?”
The human looked over the hall and everyone present. Seit hated him, most of all because they could not breach his mental protection and read his mind. Nag was far from adoring them too, those short wretches with gray withered skin, but he needed them, just as they needed him. It was time to share the plan’s details with the “allies”.

“Why the hell do we have to listen to this damn squeaker?” asked the Skrag angrily. The lizard was mighty unhappy with the fact that a feathered scoundrel was their point man.
“Oh, not again” replied an enormous Eltofa in a deep voice and waved one of the upper hands at him “You’re just jealous cause it was not you who stole the map. Let Gyp lead. Everyone will have their share.”
“Or maybe Krozghar wanted it for himself to flee to his clan” hissed the human.
“What did you say, softskin?!” the lizard exploded with anger.
Krozghar’s armored fist hit the wall right where the human stood a split-second ago. But the void raider knew well whom he pokes at, so he dodged using his jetpack right before the lizard punched.
“Well, I’ll really make you jump now!” roared Krozghar, taking his blaster off safety.
But a plasma blade of a giant khopesh melted the stone wall a few centimeters away from Krozghar. The lizard looked at an enormous shork, whose armor was covered in clan insignias and ornaments expressing loyalty to the captain.
“Enough!” everyone heard the voice of the captain, human in a heavy armor, “Are defense systems here not enough?”
“He doubted my loyalty and has to pay for that!”
“That’s for me to decide,” replied the captain harshly and then looked at the void raider, “Simon, I still need you, so don’t pick fights just yet.”
“As you say, cap’n!” smiled Simon.
“Today’s your lucky day, softskin!” hissed Krozghar.
“Hey guys!” a Kija in a suit of light armor with colorful patches appeared from a dark opening, “I’ve found the right corridor while you’ve been busy bumping titties. Let’s get going, you’ll have time to wreck each other’s face when we’re back on the ship!”
“Brilliant,” nodded the captain and commanded, shifting gaze at the shork, “Ghal, gather the rest. Looks like I am gonna get rich today.”

rules general principles Few words about what we wanna do!
Playing WH40kWHFB, Warmachine and Hordes, Infinity ive allways missing in game balance. Some systems like Warmachine is better in it and some like GW are just dont care or at least they were, up until 8ed. So i decided to create my on rules system that will be balanced and interesting to play, with full support, FAQs, and erratas.
I understand this is no easy undertaking, but i believe it is possible, and if mb some one wanna help me what will help a lot
So the first thing in the game is that the game is about player.
You start with customising you army comander, chose your commander skills and abilitys. From lvl to lvl your commander will have decisive influence on your army and your roster.
Next, base rules is easy to understand cos its similar to what your all allready knew. Its "you go i go" system, with 2 determining throws, so hit and save.
So to kill some one you need to hit him using your skill and pierce enemy armor.
All units have base stats:
MV – Move
RC – Ranged Combat
CC – Close Combat
DEF – Defense
MP – Mental Power
SV – Save
HP – Hit Points
To hit you need to use RC/CC +d6 against def. I think its optimal for wargame to have no more than two rolls, less rolls, less random.
All units have a special skills, commonly its a strong one use ability wich maximazing a unit efficiency for a short period of time, and the game is about simphony of this skills.
To win the game you need to combine the abilitys of your units and your commander with maximum skills, who is better in will win.
For now the games me and my friend playing if very exiting.
And one the most important things for me in the rules is that rules and a background were equal.
I mean you'll never see a space marine tactical squad that on the book pages is all destroying unstopable force, but on the table all they can to is die.
For some weird reason, it was not a quartermaster who came out to meet the newcomers, but a knight in paladin’s armor escorted by three order sergeants. The paladin's armor was built to resemble woman’s features – obviously a mighty expensive and complex suit even by knightly armor standards. Each of them had an azure tabard with a golden cross on it. Just like the one Helen had. And finally Delgado realized.
“Thank you for saving my daughter” coldly said lady Rosenko-Alvarez, countess of Long Lagoon of Albatross 7.
“To tell the truth, milady,” Delgado replied bowing down, "it was she who saved us.”
“Indeed?” the lady sounded surprised “I am pleased to hear it. Seems like the new fencing instructor was really worth it…”
“I am glad to see you too milady”, interrupted Helen.
“…but there’s much more to work on, most certainly” the countess continued coldly, “Take this scrap off her and bring it back into shape as quickly as possible. We’ll have to hold with what we have, and there’s too few of us.”
Having said this to the order sergeants, the countess turned around and headed to the other side of the camp. As the commander of the ground operation, she obviously had her hands full.
The soldiers stabilized Helen’s armor, opened the rear panel and helped the young knight to get out. Of course, the noble houses had access to the best rejuvenation technologies, but this time it was a real fourteen-year-old girl that emerged from a battered suit of armor.
She smiled and let her hair down.
“Why are you standing still like that, folks? If it’s about my mom… Well, she’s that hard only for show. Has to be a proper commander and all. But she’s really grateful, trust me. Let’s get my armor patched up.”
The Kja Kingdom is one of the young yet extremely ambitious civilizations. When it became clear that Asgar won’t interfere, Kja were the first to restore “justice”.
Their lives are comparatively short, but they develop and learn fast.
Physiology
Kja evolved from birds, and are light and fast. Due to faster metabolism they grow rapidly and their average life-span is about 50 years, but in exchange they get lightning reflexes and the ability to move quickly.
Kja have hollow and thin bones, and are lightly-built, so without brute force advantage they mostly rely on speed.
Political order
The Kja state is a conglomerate of kingdoms ruled by the High King.
Each king relies on his noble houses and can act independently. Any king has a right to expand his domain as much as he can. If a kingdom faces a problem it can’t handle on its own, it summons the other kingdoms to aid it.
This makes negotiations with Kja ineffective, because even if the High King agrees to something, the other kings may not comply with the terms of such agreement.
Hello everyone, its been a while but we are still working and creating something really new for you, and it will be here soon.
For now have some more consept arts ^)
