Spoiler:

So I wanted to make my Gorkanaut visually distinct from my Morkanaut in a way other than weapons and pose. I figured adding some white (since Death Skulls do tend to have white in them) would do. I added a checker pattern to the Gorkanaut, and I wanted to know if it looked "too clean" for orks. Granted, it's the chcker pattern I want to focus on. Things like rust and touch-ups are still pending. I did a test and added some wash to the large white parts on the torso, but it just looked sloppy. What ways can I dirty up white without it looking awful?

"The undead ogre believes the sack of pies is your parrot, and proceeds to eat them. The pies explode, and so does his head. The way is clear." - Me, DMing what was supposed to be a serious Pathfinder campaign.

Paint it not white and shade up to white on the edges, or dirty it up with shade in patches and rust, chipping etc

Yeah never paint white with white as base. Always off white like ulthuan grey(and for darker maybe some other colour before that) for which pure white is used as edge lightning.

If you start with pure white it's real bugger to make it look good.

It looks awesome!

I think if you do a nuln oil wash it'll be fine, for "dirty"; can also do a bit of agrax. I'd recommend starting with half water/half nuln oil, so you can build it up to where you want it.

Then go back over your edges and sharp bits with your base and you'll be good.

It's likely going to look really startling until you get your weathering in.

However you end up doing your weathering (powders, sponge and paint, GWs tech paints or a combo), it'll be quite a lot dingier in my experience thereafter.

I had quite a similar problem with my orange as it was really vibrant before weathering. Nice thing with your white, and even blue, the rust and scratches etc will definitely have a nice strong contrast!

Can't wait to see more of it!
