So, way back before 8th I started buying bits and pieces for my next project.... namely Death Guard.

One of those bits was the lovely FW DG Contemptor.

Now, in the advent of 8th Edition, Codex Death Guard and IA Index Forces of Chaos, how does DakkaDakka think I should run it?

1. Hellforged Contemptor.
2. Codex DG Hellbrute.
3. Turn it into a Daemon Prince of Nurgle.
4. Something else entirely.

Follow up question;

How would you equip each of these options?

Looking for ideas.

Thanks

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

I'm not much of a fan of the contemptor's rules: either go cheaper with a helbrute or go full on and get a Leviathan, it's in a bit of a middle ground that I don't think we need.

As for what to use it as, I think if you use it as a Helbrute it will get confusing but a mechanical Daemon Prince conversion might look great! I'd love to see you attempt that.
