So I have this carnifex from 4th edition where it was legal..
equipped with stranglethorn cannon and heavy venom cannon.
in new codex, it has an asterisk on both weapons saying "model cannot be equipped with more than one of these weapons"
meaning.. one of each max? either one stranglethorn or one venomcannon?

Typically, "more than one of these weapons" would refer to any combination from the list. 2x Venom Cannons would be "more than one of these weapons" just as 1x Venom Cannon and 1x Stranglethorn Cannon would also be "more than one".

It means one of either. You can't have both the stranglethorn and the venom cannon. However the English language is vague enough to allow the other interpretation to be parsed.

As the others have said, one "cannon" max. Which was pretty much the wording in the Index... no idea why they made it more vague!
