Okay. Recently painted my SE for Shadespire and really fell in love with the bases... So I'm currently considering basing my AoS force like that as well. Does anybody know a supplier for (resin) scenic bases like that (i.e. overgrown cobblestone path with some leaves, occasional skull and a few statue fragments)?

Do these help?

https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Shattered-Dominion-Large-Base-Detail-Kit

or these:

I'm sure you could just paint those like stone and glue on some green flock

The shattered dominion bases look very different... But the Detail kit might be a compromise if nothing else turns up.

Well you could do the cobble using textured rolling pins.

the overgrowth and rubble should be pretty simple with flock and rocks.

Atenocitis does a nice range of scenic bases with a cobbled set

Thanks for the suggestion!

Alas no cobble stome for non-roundlipped 40mm bases... And the others are too clean for my personal taste.

Use this for the texture: http://www.greenstuffworld.com/de/strukturierte-teigrolle-/314-strukturierte-teigrolle-texturierte-pflaster-rollstab-modellierrolle.html

Combine with parts from Dominion Basing Kit and the Creeping Vines.

And possible a few leaves from http://www.greenstuffworld.com/de/101-motivlocher

Should give a good approximate.

The Ancient or Arcane bases could be suitable.

I've recently received a shipment of the Wraithstone bases and they are fantastic.

First of all many thanks for all the suggestions!

Dragonforge bases (especially the Broken Wasteland ones) look nice... but getting them in Europe might be expensive...
