Funny idea. Competive tournaments would get fit of too big wave serpent but who cares.

Its an interesting execution but I think some of the design decisions are a bit weird. If it's stuck to a dinosaur for locomotion why bother keeping the anti grav wings and engines?

I do like the cockpit above the head, but rather turned off by the Smarties painted all over it.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I was trying to keep it recognizable as a wave serpent, so I kept the engines and stuff. The 'Smarties' are my attempt at jems on it, I thought air gun bbs would be small enough, but they are kinda big.

It's interesting, and I want to like it...but the first picture made me think of people who dress up their dogs for Halloween...and now I can't get that image out of my head.

Looks very cool, you've done a stellar job. If I were playing against it though I'd prefer a large oval base so it was clear where you're measuring to.

You love the T-Rex. Its both a hero and a Villain in the first two movies. It is the "king" of dinosaurs. Its the best. You love your T-rex.
Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

It definately still looks like a wave serpent, maybe a little too much for my liking. Its really well integrated into the model. I especially like the tail steps. Personally i think it would look better if the gems were only 1 or 2 colours. Its a bit busy at the moment.

The concept is cool, but I can't help but agree with some of the other commenters that it doesn't quite "get there".

Setting aside that it's way bigger than a stock WS, which I wouldn't have a problem with, at least outside of a tournament (which I don't frequent anyway), there are a few problems.

The dinosaur looks a bit too much like the toy I assume it is. The main problem here is the head; the eyes and mouth look too cartoony. The eyes are large and stand out a lot, and the teeth and tongue are also very prominent. I'd like those toned down.

The engines in particular don't belong. They don't serve the purpose they do on a regular WS, so why are they there? I would've considered removing the engines and putting the heavy weapons in the resulting holes (the underslung weapon could sit on top still).

The cockpit needs the dividers between the glass panels painted to look finished. This is quickly done.

The "smarties" gems would look better if they weren't so many different clashing colours. I'd say pick one and go with it for all of them. Also, some counter-shading (darker on top, lighter at the bottom) could make them look much more gem-like. For such small details, use a lot of contrast. A small white dot in the top-centre can give a glossy impression.

I don't mean to be overly critical, but I think this project has a lot of only partly realised potential.

It's an ambitious model, keep up the hobby and your enthusiasm!

Why would the eldar tape a wave serpent to their doxile beasts?

I love the concept and parts of the execution are well done. I think follow the advice others have given above and it could be excellent. I'd certainly welcome a game against the beastie.

I'm working on it, feedback is part of the reason I post things. I am going to put it on a base, I have ordered one from my local shop. I am cleaning up the paintjob, and I am thinking of going back and adding green stuff details to it and some of my other dinos, to kick them up a notch. I have worked on the gems, they look better already.

Thanks for the feedback
