We will see about that. I think the most worrisome thing about it would probably be the head, which could of course be redone. I think Wormwood and Ed are already on it!

If I'm not mistaken this new creature by Rikard will be cast and sold by Troll Forged Miniatures:

No guarantees yet since Rikard has also been very busy making some stuff which might potentially be released by Avatars of War.

And, well...I've been missing this fellow for a while, but he's back, and is still working on his big scary walker:

Quite a big update this time...
The walker, as it was, had several parts of it's construction that I just wasn't happy with. The missile launcher had some pretty rough edges, and the leg was just abysmally dull and lacking in detail. Additionally, the leg was far too thin to support the weight of the walker, and was only really capable of being modelled in one pose.

So far, I've made quite a few changes to the model, starting with redoing the leg from scratch. It is now made from three parts, which are completely poseable.

I've also added external detail to the cockpit, which I think really brings the thing to life, and added several additional details to the main carapace, namely the rivets.

I've also taken the time to bore holes in all of the hollow parts of the model, and have poured modeller's plaster into the void inside. This, I hope, will make the model more resistant to the pressures of casting and less likely to implode.

You need to hide the GW bits you are using as it is way too obvious. Also it looks like a badly drawn chicken-nid, and I can't get the thought out of my head now. Not a good thing. Sorry it's not positive, but this has a long way to go if it's going to be half decent.

Since it's a rather large kit it will probably be all resin.

There are no GW bits on that Wormwood sculpt. There are WIP pictures all over TrollForged and Warpshadow.

Indeed, there are no GW parts in the model. TFM doesn't cast any parts and bits that belong to other companies.

Any updates on the Graven? Last I saw one was cast in 3d.

I think Ed is still working on casting it, expect it in the coming weeks. Sorry for the delay, Ed is going in overkill mode to get all the stuff done.

Indeed, I am eagerly awaiting the release of the big Alien transport bug by cyclonus, whose prototype sits on Ed's desk for 2 months

Yeah, I think the head at the very least will need to change if they want to safely cast it. The fact that it looks so much like a regular carnifex head is a compliment to the sculptor... but likely to land it in hot water.

The big bug is a bit of a disappointment for me, the original teasers of just the head and ribs were exciting for me, but as it is going along it is becoming very bloated and out of proportion with itself imo... The torso is far, far too thick, the head is tiny in relation to the rest of the creature, looks like a gaunt head on a trygon! The tail is... well nubby I guess.

It's a shame for me because the individual parts are quite well done on their own, they just seem out of scale with each other. I get the impression that the sculptor is winging it instead of working towards a meticulously prepared concept sketch.

As always though, just IMO, plenty of people will love it I'm sure!

The lizardman, brain bug cyber organic walker and detailing on the big walker legs look pretty ace so far, there is definitely an interesting diversity in your product offering and sculpt styles!

Indeed, I am eagerly awaiting the release of the big Alien transport bug by cyclonus, whose prototype sits on Ed's desk for 2 months

And again, we apologize :( Cyclonus' bug will be coming very soon. Ed has been very busy keeping up with everything, form casting tons of different models, doing the orders, having a dayjob and looking after his family. He has also been investing in some new equipment!

Well, lets see about that! Rikard was planning on doing more Lizardmen and post-apocalyptic stuff (switching between these two ranges to keep variety).

@MajorTom11: we all have different tastes and such. I noticed you're also a member on our forum, perhaps you could also post those comments over there? I could forward them for you if you want?

Personally I like the idea of a fat body, it kind of makes the creature look pregnant. I love the design of the legs. Not so sure where the tail is going to yet and the head...well...I'm not a big fan of it myself, but hopefully there will be other options available!

It's not so much that it is fat it is where it is fat, the main thickness seems to be concentrated depth wise (iirc nids are usually pretty uniform on at least 2 axis', with the largest usually being X) in the ribs and upper torso, whereas with a tervigon one would expect a more belly oriented swelling... ah screw it - *comes back 15 mins later*

A message from Ed:

Hey everyone. As we improve and add new things I've been going through the store and finding some of the old favorites and adjusting prices down a bit. Over time they will be replaced as we fill up the store with fantastic stuff and I want to be fair and provide the customers a chance to buy some of these figures before they go.

I just had Philip drop the price on a few of my old demons I have sold a ton of over the last year. I'll keep doing this to try and get everyone a few sales here and there. Business is better and as we improve, something I demand, we will grow more.

Also there is no way I would ever take my own hand out of the casting and molding department because of care and quality. I may hire someone to teach and pay a salary that could allow me more time to cast and mold our more critical stuff. I'm looking into it. Some of you have been waiting a long time and it's just a constant juggle for me alone.

I want to give everyone a fair chance as well and to me if some money comes out of my pocket to do this, so be it. I'll let you know how things go and where we are. My main reason behind this is for more sculpting time as my own sculpts make me quite a bit of cash.

Also new equipment on the way, 2 new machines and a bunch of frames so I can now go 12 pies and 3" thick molds if need be. Very happy and excited to get us this new equipment.

Oh and also, I may have started a new issue here with a conversion using other peoples parts. I ill from now on make 110% sure to get permission first. Getting overworked and doing a million things at one time gave me poor judgement. Nothing we do has been done so this is just another rung up the ladder of TFM and learning what we need for the whole community. Honestly while it bugs me I think it's a good learning experience for everyone. I might be the main man in charge but I need to remember to watch every one elses own IP best I can.
