Hello
I want to build a small army of Mechanicum for my legion Dark Angels. What I want to know Is, Did Caliban have it’s own Mechanicum, and what was it. For example was it Tagmata or Legio Cybernitica or something different? I want to do a Dark Angels Caliban themed Mechanicum army.

"The Mechanicum" is a Mars-based galaxy-wide organization centered around their own Forge Worlds. Any Mechanicum army in the traditional sense would be from a Forge World, which is a specific designation for worlds under Martian jurisdiction independent of Terran jurisdiction, of which Caliban wasn't one.
Mechanicum forces attached to the Legions were sent out by Mars (or another Forge World) to support the Crusade Fleets directly. The Dark Angels fought alongside Mechanicum forces from Xana II (later turned traitor), Lucius (remained loyal), and Thramas (loyal, less important world) (probably a lot more, but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head) during the Great Crusade and the Heresy, a Mechanicum force drawn from any of those might make use of any of the elements that make up the Taghmata.

No. Mechanicum forces hail from worlds ruled by the Mechanicum. Caliban was not part of the Mechanicum.
The Dark Angels did fight alongside several Mechanicum forces during the Great Crusade.

What about the legion Praevian? Would the legion maintain Castellax robots for them? I want to paint my Castellax robots that Mechanicum red colour, with a black shoulder pad with the dark angels emblem. What Mechanicum use the red colour?
I want a Thanotar for my collection and I like the red colour scheme.

Most Forge Worlds use red somewhere to signify their unity with Mars.
A Praevian is an initiate of the Machine Cult who spent some time training on a Forge World the same way a Techmarine would. The Battle-Automata they're in charge of have been ceremonially inducted into the Legion after years or decades of honourable service; in many Legions they'd have been painted fully in Legion colours, but it's not a very standardized thing so it's entirely conceivable that you might see one with just the one Legion shoulder pad.
