Hello, I want to get 4 Leman Russ BT for my cult mechanicum army. I want to convert them to look more like something the Mech would use and not the standard IG version. Does anyone have any conversion ideas? I was thinking of building them on a dunecrawler body or adding the Krios treads to the Leman Russ body. Any other good ideas? Thank you in advance.

I dunno i wouldnt think the ad mech would mess with one of their most ubiquitous tank.

imho id say build them normal, maybe use the admech variaty of weapons for things like the auto cannons, flamers, las cannon (?) stubbers and stuff since they are pretty unique at times.

and also swap out the pintle guy with a admech one.

then paint it all factory rust red. or your army color.

Mechanicum is all about exposed tracks. See the Krios. Is there any 3rd party companies that make exposed tracks that would fit a Leman russ?

If they were going to use a Russ, they'd certainly replace weapons, perhaps the turret/sponsons, but would presumably leave the basic hull alone - otherwise, why use a Russ at all?

The other option is counts-as Russes, i.e. representing non-Russ vehicles which happen to have the same stats as Russes for rules purposes, in which case pick anything you like around the size of a Russ.
