Gameworkshop store is quite limited on terrain buildings, mostly imperium, and they are quite expensive. Does anyone know any other table top games or terrain store I can buy buildings, house, trees, walls? (close to same size of WH40k models)

EDIT: Already made terrain, maybe only painting require

There's a huge array of laser cut terrain kits that you can buy and build.

Depending on where you are with shipping and whatnot it can either be a great value or expensive.

I'm sure someone else will post about trees and stuff. I make my own so I have no idea who really sells them.

Basically anywhere will be way cheaper.

You can make pretty convincing trees out of super coarse foam flocking and paperclips!

Simply twist the paperclips together to form the trunk, leave a few bits poking out, then glue your flock into it with super glue. Keep adding flock til it looks right and viola! Tree! Paint the tree trunk first though.

Can't disagree with this statement.

Your imagination is probably the most powerful thing you can use when it comes to terrain, this person created this Tau Power Generator from a simple plastic sandcastle toy

If you've got the patience, I suggest doing trees up like this instead of individually:
Spoiler:

Keep in mind when I built this specific example, it was for 15mm wargaming; you can see it scales better for that:

Just get longer nails and use a wider base.

You can work the same technique into things like hills:

Again, that one was also specifically for 15mm (and had more detailed trunks).

This is my preferred way of doing tree cover, since you don't knock them over very easily and you can represent a "dense forest" pretty easily.

Anything already fully assembled that just requires painting is never going to be cheap. What kind of budget are you looking at?

miniaturemarket has some tiny terrain
ebay has sales of course, and you can often find 3D printed stuffs
Hirst arts has molds you can use to make your own, which is also pretty fun
gamemat.eu has ready to go out of the box bundles, which are well worth it imo, if you don't want to make your own

Trees: specfically - check hobby stores, Model RR sites and Michael's/Hobby Lobby clearance especially. I often find trees there.

Scenicexpress has a lot of both the premade and the stuff to make it yourself as well.

You can also use toy trees, if you don't want too much detail, and they can be quite cheaper but you have to look pretty hard to find them

RE: buildings - if you want GW buildings etc, try either buying a kit second hand, or bits of one, or also, from a third party retailer where there's a discount.
Then take it and make it go further with pieces of foamboard etc.

You can also check out places that sell MDF versions - many are really nice and have the added benefit of being somewhat lighter

Impudent Mortal has some excellent kits, I have some and they're very nice and suitable for 40k. You do have to build and paint them, but it's worth it

I buy Christmas Village Trees. Pull the white plastic base off and jam the wire into a cork base. The snow can be retained, or you can overpaint it with green.

Cheap and cheerful.

Also, just happened to check my newsletters in email:

Impudent Mortal is having a clearance - a lot of the buildings I mentioned above are 1/2 off. Making some $10. Several of which I have already, so I can vouch that they're great. Of course they are MDF and if you dislike it, there's that.

Go to miniaturescenery.com. They have a battlegrounds selection of buildings and roads that are quite decent looking and affordable to.
