I'm looking to dress up some cubes and i was hoping you guys could give me some easy ideas for doors and windows. Stuff to just make it look less cubeish...
Thanks.

This should go in P&M rather than showcase. But in answer, get a hold of the Maelstom's edge terrain/building sprue. Loads of useful gubbins on it.

Well platicard and thin card are my materials of choice for detailing building and you can find some good inspiration with a few google searches. The tricky bit sometimes is finding a shape that fits stylisticly if you already have a terrain set be that shop bought or home made.

A design I used to use for 40k with its obsession for arched windows was getting some styrene pipe and I-beams that were around the same width and glueing the pipe into the groove using a form like a coke bottle or something. All you need is some tape to hold it while it dries and a couple of pen marks for the top and bottom of the window on the bottle so you get the same curve each time. Then notch the tops so they meet nicely add an internal frame if you want, then a sill and your good to go.

I did this with the Maelstrom sprue

And the door on this with thin plasticard and a bent wire as door handle

Atenocitis Workshop does scale architectural window frames and doors. Or just do holes in the wall and plate them over with textured plasticard like this

I was going to mention that, having bought a couple of those sprue, but not used them yet.
I have seen a few around, but it's why I ended up getting a 3d printer. This is just what they are good at. I poked around on Thingiverse, but a 2 minute search came up sparce.

It gives just enough texture to the outside to be interesting.

On the vent side of things, TTCombat have an amazing resin vent set.

I did a bit of a quick and dirty guide just to give an idea of what I'm talking about.
