Rotting Sorcerer of Nurgle
|
So ya'll may be wondering where this rep went; well, I requested for this thread be closed or removed.
I will state, for the record, that I learned a few things this game; first, never assume someone knows the rules of their own army, no matter how long they have been playing. Secondly, if you know someone is blatantly playing wrong or "twisting" rules, speak up louder. Third, research an army (via Battlescribe) to loosely know the opponents rules when you can, that way you can spot when someones not being honestly. Lastly, keep track of your own CP and own Victory Points, as well as wounds on large models.
This game did not go well, and to spare you the drama and details, I was fed up and quit top of three because I was tired of it. Even being new to 8th, I knew some of the things I was being told were wrong or seemed extremely overpowered in the context things were being used. After the game I confirmed many of my suspicions, messaged my opponent, and told him that I would not be putting up a rep. Sorry to those who were looking forward to this, I was looking forward to it myself... wasted my one game for the month. Oh well, live and learn.
Please look forward to other reps in the future, and thank you for understanding

Thanks Hollow One!
I'm excited myself; I'll be showcasing a few new conversions I made... I've been holding off putting them on my P&M blog, but damn, I think they'd make papa nurgle one happy fella!
Thanks for your post and I'll look forward to your comment when the reports done

Update: Updated pre-game thoughts to reflect Daves slightly changed list, also added pics of the assembled armies (note: the DG one does not contain the proxies for the remaining PB's, Scrivener and Nurglings). Games later today!

Sorry to hear it went down like that.

Bow down to Guilliman for he is our new God Emperor!
Martel - "Custodes are terrible in 8th. Good luck with them. They take all the problems of marines and multiply them."
"Lol, classic martel. 'I know it was strong enough to podium in the biggest tournament in the world but I refuse to acknowledge space marines are good because I can't win with them and it can't possibly be ME'."
DakkaDakka is really the place where you need anti-tank guns to kill basic dudes, because anything less isn't durable enough. |
