Hey guys, just wondering what your thought are on the subject title? I’m thinking of building a Red Scorpion gun line army with ultramarine tactics. Was thinking to have at least 2 quad mortars and one laser destroyer but just wondering which is better for points? On paper the Forgeworld looks a lot better only downside you get less durability and don’t get a techmarine but you’d just pay to have one day next to them repairing anyways right?

Many thanks!

Laser destroyer is really good and it's only 4pl. the exponential damage has really worked for me. it basically can wipe tanks in a turn (plaguebursts, preds, etc). it's also small enough to gain cover bonuses in tight areas that normal stuff can't get into. I probably will pick up a mortar just to enhance the range on anti infantry.
