Good evening ladies and gentlemen,

I have started this army a decade ago, while reading the eye of the terror codex, I instantly fell in love with the renegade army. I have always loved the armies with a lot of sculpting/kitbashing possibilities.

After all these years, I have a lot of footmen and few tanks, but they're not painted and they started to be covered by dust. But a few months ago, i moved in a new city and now i live near a 40k club, which reminded me these little dusty fellows so here I am, starting again and I have a lot of work to do : got more than a hundred of footmen to paint, a few tanks, 2 daemon princes, 1 baneblade, ...

So here we are now, I have 2 infantry squads, 1 command squad, 3 heavy weapon squads, 1 veterans Squad and the Septicemius' command squad which are painted here are the pictures

The infantry Squads of the first Platoon
Squad 1

Squad 2

The Platoon command squad

The heavy weapons Squad

The "count as" Ratlings Squad

The Veterans Squad

The command Squad of Colonel Septicemius

And here is my WIP, the Bullgryns, sorry for the picture, it's a bit flashy, next ones will be better

Edit : I've taken better pictures

Wow, very cool models. Renegade armys offer a lot of opportunity for crazyness, I'll be following this with interest !

Hi guys,

Thanks for your messages, I've worked a bit on those big beasts. The armored parts are finished, so are the shields and the skin (excepts the bloody parts) and there is still a lot of work to do.

What do you mean by that ? I'm using Noelshack and I never had this problem before, maybe the pics are too big ?

Hi,

@KernelTerror
Thanks, he's my favourite one too

Here are the pictures of the finished Bullgryns' Squad, but there is two things i'm not satisfied about : The "things" on their back, which seems to be like a small christmas tree, and the gold on Doug's weapon.

I was not really satisfied about some members of the Septicemius' Command Squad, who were lacking of personnality. I mean, they're supposed to be badass, so I decided to change to of them. Here they are in WIP :

Drisharr, the Maneater and Hasdrubal, the Bodyguard

Finally, here is what's coming next, a squad of psykers

Thanks @KernelTerror for your support ! I wasn't thinking about abyssal fishes first when i started the sculpting, but then i cannot stop thinking about it

I just checked your warband, it's really the stuff nightmares are made of, really good job !

I love beastmen styled renegades, and these ones are amazing. The bullgryns too!

I'm curious about some of those bearded heads in the post before the demon prince. They're really neat looking

realism is a lie

Thanks amazingturtles, the heads are from the empire flagellants kit.
I used several kits to build my renegades :
- Astra Militarum guards
- marauders
- empire flagellants
- beastmen gor/ungors
- bretonnian men at arms
- renegades from the v7 starter box

I had plenty of bits from these so i can make each model unique and, since i started to play warhammer, i can't resist to mix kits and convert minis

Thanks! i'll have to keep an eye out for flagellents, i really like wild looking heads like those.

Mixing up kits is the best really, it's amazing what even a simple head swap can do.

Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.
