Is forgeworld still doing these, or has production completely shifted into the horus heresy stuff?

We have the Indexes, that's about it.

They keep promising new stuff, but the longer time goes on the more it starts to look like vaporware.

Fires of Cyraxus was allegedly waiting for the Tau codex, which has been released... so. It's coming out soon!

Im guessing they are rewriting Cyraxus to squeeze Custodes in, since they are clamoured for as much as Mechanicum units are.

Got Space Marines, Ad Mech, Tau, and maybe Custodes. Going to be a hefty book.

Fro what I've heard the Custodes actually have significantly higher demand than the Ad Mech stuff. I'm be almost surprised if they didn't replace the Space Marines with Custodes.

And then they can replace the Tau with more gold space marines, and replace the other space marines with gold space marines. And then they can rename the book to "gold marine training exercise", with all of the new product releases for the book being gold marine doors and shoulder pads. At least that would be honest about the current state of their business!

There was talk about Custodes getting downloadable rules until a book crops up that contains them. There was also talk of just releasing things along the lines of "codices" from FW as digital only products.

They've been fairly adamant about it remaining Red Scorpions, Cyraxus(which is a Forge World apparently), and Tau(guessing Kel'shan Sept since they have a named character suit that is Kel'shan).

My sources say Vior’la, assuming the rules match the art.

RE: OP

Allegedly yes, but it’s been nearly two years without so much as a teaser. Latest rumor has it for Q3 (I’m assuming Q3 2022).

Is it a huge loss? Forgeworld aren't very good at rule writing.

We haven't seen a whole lot of art for the Tau side of things.

It's been two years, of which one and a half have been after they found out that 8th was coming and had to scrap the rules portion of it.

Still inexcusable. Given the quality of their other rules redoing the rules part of the book shouldn't take more than a day or two. It's not like they're going to bother with playtesting or checking for typos or anything, so why pretend that the 8th edition update is a legitimate excuse for a delay?

They said Custodes would be in an upcoming book not Fires. With the change in staffing the next books were always going to be delayed whether for Imperial Armour or Heresy. I think they've learnt their lesson from rushing the Indexes out

Maybe they’ve learned their lesson from the rushed idices, and are going to release the greatest book ever? Each copy shall contain a handwritten apology letter specifially addressed to the customer, and a coupon for free burgers at Warhammer World.
