Hey all,

Can my BA dreads take autocannons? Battlescribe has it as an option but I can't find the weapon in the codex.

It will be a real pain if BA don't have access to this weapon, it seems to be a good middle ground between Las Cannons and Assault Cannons.

If you ever play with "that guy" remember this :
"there may be times when you are not sure exactly how to resolve a situation that has come up during play. When this happens, have a quick chat with your opponent and apply the solution that makes the most sense to both of you (or seems the most fun!), If no single solution presents itself, you and your opponent should roll off, and whoever rolls the highest gets to choose what happens." This is an interesting strange rule, not quite a loop-hole since it is OK by GW:
That information would be in the "Index" that first came out before the Codex.
They are considered valid for anything not covered in an existing Codex.

Yes it can. Check the designers commentary FAQ last page. It was already updated 11/17.

It's difficult isn't it. I have both index and codex yet you would think they would have put the index stuff in the codex as to be honest, once the codex comes out I have put the index on the shelf.

I do try and keep abreast of the faq's but it's moving at a fast pace.. for those who come after this p5freak is referring to :

The Codex represents the current model range. The Index options that aren't in the Codex represent out of print or otherwise no longer available models. I wouldn't get too attached to those options. I'm expecting GW to remove the Index options at some point in the future. It might not happen until 9e hits, but I do expect it to happen eventually.
