Ok, im going to ask some questions of what i think is legal/coolrule(wat ever its called) based on what i have researched so far, and i want to know if im wrong and what is correct. ( i only want to know what is allowed strictly with the majority of warhammer players/professional tournaments etc )

Are you allowed to for e.g, replace a figure in a 40k army with a model from lets say age of sigmar or some old non-40k warhammer figure as long as they are very close in appearence/size AND genuine games workshop models etc.

Are you allowed to put any space marine in to for e.g a dark angels army, or is this only allowed for non uniquely excuslive to there legion models ( for e.g just normal looking space marine troops, and bikes ). When i say Uniquely exclusive i mean things like lets say dark angel veteran squad ( since they have like those robes they wear and space marines do not ).

I need to know this because its confusing the heck out of me. Like if your allowed to use non games workshop models then why spend money on the real things. I want to collect/play and want to know im not wasting my money

ok so i just have to make sure that i dont give a model a weapon that he does not use? so like for e.g i cant give a weapon that only a certain model uses and just give it to another type of model within the same race, like i cant just give a normal spacemarine trooper a powerful weapon that a is used by like a spacmarine captain or dark angels captain.


And yes i will attend the upper hutt and lower hutt battles so i can ask questions etc

These are what i have bought, i got rid of the chaos marines i showed u, im gonna stick with dark angels.

Oh also i bought a old dark angels codex. I am guessing even though its old i can learn about some of the first history etc of them? ( even though now things might have changed with new codex )

Is it mainly space marines you can convert because there are so many legions of space marines compared to for e.g Eldar. ( like i could never put eldar in my dark angels army right?, if we are following gw rules ).

Wait so can i put https://www.games-workshop.com/en-DK/Chaos-Space-Marines-Possessed in my DA army, and if i can what is the name of that DA army?? a "not proper DA army" or some thing. and if you can then whats the point if your just in it for playing, why bother spending money on models that cost more and instead just buy cheapest models and call them what ever you want and replace them with the expensive ones .
