Subject: Would you pay money to expand your favorite fluff?
Let’s say that GW wanted to make some extra cash, and was willing to make it good for you, would you buy in?
What if GW started Kickstarters or other things, in which they asked the fan base to provide money in order to flesh out certain chapters that we don’t hear from that often? They would, of course, probably pocket some money, but also hire writers to expand obscure chapters, regiments, and factions’ lore.
It doesn’t necessarily need to be a detailed encyclopedia entry or anything, like explaining who their Primarch is, their original chapter. It could be as simple as telling current size, some organization, and what they are doing anymore.
I’m personally curious if the Marines Malevolent were given Primaris Marines.
So, would you pay GW expand your favorite fluff?
If the truth can destroy it, then it deserves to be destroyed.

I've been ignoring a lot of the fluff GW's written since 5e came along and started telling me dumb things about how my Grey Knights work for Samurai Jack and need to massacre their allies and paint their armour in blood to strengthen their anti-daemon protections. I know they've gotten better in the intervening years but I'm not about to pay them for lore I'm probably going to ignore most of anyway.

This is why my sisters (SoB) consider Grey Knights to be a chaos faction.

GW would have no business using KS. KS is for things that wouldn't otherwise exist. It would be nice if GW wrote more lore for less-featured chapters/craftworlds/whatever, but it's their job hire writers to do so, not ours.

I mean, I wrote an internal schism within the Grey Knights over the appointment of a "supreme Grand Master" and the disappearance of four Grand Masters and over two thousand Grey Knights from the official lore into my headcanon wherein the bit that's still working for Draigo is absolutely a Chaos faction, so you're not alone there.
I play Space Wolves so I'm never going to pay for them to make more lore. I would however pay to wipe all evidence of the last few years of writing from the world.

Yep, this. The fluff has gone to hell in a handbasket in recent years. If I could pay them to not write any new fluff, then I would be sorely tempted!
They should have frozen the fluff back in 2nd. This would have prevented silly GK fluff, Primaris and the god-awful return of Primarchs. The latter are legends that should have never returned to a battlefield but GW has apparently a love for uber models like Nagash.

I have and would again pay good money for fluff books like Imperial Armour - same reason I bought the Shield of Baal.
do a Book on just Sisters of Battle or Silence or Black Templars or Eldar
Kickstart away.
