So I decided to get a castellan knight for my new knight house but I wanted it to be a bit more imposing so I bought some bits from etsy and shapeways

haha, Taromodelmaker and Pop Goes the Monkey, right? this is exactly what I wanted to do with a dominus. Did you get a replacement head too? and how does it compare to other models with the new extensions?

Awesome. It's a nice step to making the Dominus different looking, and larger.

Comparison shot next to a standard knight for size, the extra waist and knee joints have added about the thickness of the box the castellan is stood on, so about an inch.

Looking at the comparison pic you realise that the dominus is only slightly taller than a standard knight normally.

I am not sure about heads, I was considering going for the animal ones from shapeways but they are like £20 each lol, really nice tho

Not to take the idea but where did the torso extension come from

The new parts just slot in, really simple. Although I did cut down the torso connector of the dominus to make the shapeways waist extender fit more flush.
