I've not bought Orks for over 2 decades, but I'm now seriously tempted.

It will be the coolest most expensive waagh ever. A single buggy is going to be like $50. But so worth it...

I'm from the future. The future of space

I like it. Pretty much everything about it. Hopefully it's not like $60

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

No. Just no, GW. I am not going to destroy my old buggies. Instead I will start to paint the remaining two next weekend. How expensive will the new kit be? 50 Euros? Who will pay that amount of money for a unit which has less of a life expectancy than a Rhino? Maybe the same scalpers who buy right now all your AT boxes.

Besides that, it took you how many years to develop this thing? Twenty?! Too late too late!

I had been holding off on converting my buggies and trakks to look more modern. I'm glad I waited.

I'm definitely happy for the new kits. They look great. I hope they won't be priced like Mek Gunz though.

One of the leaked pictures had the inside of the box, but it wasn't very clear. It looked like two larger oval bases and 4-5 smaller oval bases. I'm wondering if the pictured buggy-looking vehicles are on the larger it smaller bases? If they're on the smaller ones maybe we're going to get some larger fast vehicles like a mekboy junka/speedsta/dragsta? If the buggies are on the larger bases maybe we're getting new or repackaged warbikes? Or even, dare I hope, characters on bikes?

we don't have an official price yet but if the rumor of a pack like the armigers (and same sprue count) is true then $75 for 2, current kit is $30 so if per box. so if that rumor is true they going up $7.50 each but i think the model is much nicer and worth that premium. This is also before we count any discount in the speed reaks box if it shows up there. Also ther is no need to destroy old buggied.. by all means finish and use yours. I plan to keep playing my current wartraxx and buggies... but also get some of these new ones so they are mixed and mash as a proper ork army should be. .

GW gives you an updated model which people have wanted forever and are giving orks an entire month and people still find a way to be salty.

People would be less salty, if GW would provide more new xenos models. The Eldar & Ork line has been outdated for decades. And what did the customer get instead? Spess Mehreens in all shapes and colours. GW should also have a solution for the bad Ork shooting ready on release date for the new shooty buggies and wartrakks. If not, these kits will remain on the shelves.

I might be misunderstanding you, but it sounds like your complaint about a new model is that there aren't enough new models?

Ork shooting is in a bad place right now, but the codex hasn't been released yet.

If you actually believe they are rebooting orks and not be amazing as all gak then you really don't know GW well.

Remember Tau reboot? New levels of dakka. Remember the DE reboot? Power from pain amazingness. Remember the Eldar reboot? People are still sore from 185 point wraithknights.

The ork codex is going to be the Nobz Kneez, there is no way in feth it's not with this amount of publicity for a release in Orktober.

I'll give you that the eldar line really needs new aspect warriors and phoenix lords but other than deff choptas and the buggies most of the ork kits are pretty recent. Orks rule wise will hopefully get fixed when the codex drops soon.

Just to make myself clear:
I am complaining that it took GW decades to come up with this kit. And we will have to see what price tag is attached to it. $75 for two buggies according to rumours? This would be 33 Euros for one buggy. Too expensive for my taste. But I am not their target group anymore as I have already three wartrakks & three buggies. Gotta love the magic number 3, buddy.

I hope for all Ork players out there that they address the poor orky BS in some way. It was one of the dumbest design decisions in 40K to turn the goofy & fun race into a mean tyranid clone. So dial down on bare-knuckle fighting and boost dakka-dakka.

I love it but it doesn't need a base

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

Yea the only thing I don't like is it having a base. It's a non walker, it doesn't need one.

I remember the DE reboot and instantly purchased a whole army of these Hellraiser look-a-likes as they hit the store shelves. Though canĀ“t comment on the other stuff. I hope they rehired Paul Bonner for the art in the codex book. His depictions of the Orks in the 90s was amazing and sold the faction to me.

Release in Orktober? There better be a huge Ork submarine in the WD battle report.

If they had done it earlier it would have been some other style and then Orks would be jealous of the new new kits other people got.

This kit is hands down one of the best looking models GW has produced - in my opinion.

People are moaning about this? Its one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen from GW. Who cares if it costs a bit of money? Have you only just realised this hobby is expensive? As an ork player surely not.

The set should have a saving. I'll be buying multiple, despite having too many bikes as it is.
