It's time for another Let's Play! This time we check out the forces of Isengard and Rohan as they take the field in a Matched Play game based on Armies of The Lord of the Rings!

That was a good video. I'm on the fence about picking up the game to finally try it out, and this might be what pushes me over the edge. Thanks and keep the content coming.

Fantastic video. This game is a bit more complex than I thought.

The SBG Rule System is one of the best GW ever produced in my opinion (And not just because it's also used for Legends of the Old West and High Seas). It's simple but elegant and the heroic actions make for some really interesting tactical design.
Troke and Friends did a great job with this edition. Super happy with it!

It's game based on the lord of the ring game system(so very familiar stat blocks, how you shoot, fight in h2h, heroic actions etc) themed around wild west with optional(though I highly recommend to use it) campaign system ala necromunda etc where guys get wounded, gain experience etc.
Great fun. One posse trying to prevent their member being hanged or robbing a train or good old bank robbery etc. Or howabout indians attacking to town!
What he said. Back in the day, GW had Warhammer Historicals; they produced Warhammer Ancient Battles which was based on Warhammer Fantasy 5th edition; Warmaster Ancients based on Warmaster; Legends of the Old West based on Lord of the Rings, and The Great War (World War One) based on 40k 3rd/4th edition; and several other rulesets not mentioned here.
