I'm getting back into
40k and this is going to be my list for casual pickup games at 1500 points.
The concept is straight forward:
- Deceiver for
MW and to reposition Immortals/Scarabs before the game starts
- Zahndrekh rolls for his ability and prays for +1A on Lychguard. Otherwise +1
BS goes onto Immortals and Charge Rerolls onto Wraiths.
-
MWBD on Lychguard.
- Cryptek with Veil teleports Zahndrekh close to a high-priority target and Vargard Obyron follows up with Lychguard for 1st turn charge
- Lychguard and Obyron charge and delete whatever is in their way in
cc
- Immortals and Scarabs sit on objectives
- Wraiths move foreward and play distraction carnifex
In the enemy turn, Lychguard will be the prime target, but with DISPERSION FIELD AMPLIFICATION they go up to 3+ and deal
MW on 6s, hopefully surviving until the next turn and forcing a few deaths from enemy fire.
