Just throwing ideas into the air (sorry about spelling mistakes, not got codex with me so going off memory)
Sautekh Dynasty
94 - Overlord - Staff of Light, Veil of darkness, Hyperlogical Strategist
95 - Cryptek - Staff of light, Chromatron
150 - Tesla Immortals x 10
150 - Tesla Immortals x 10
75 - Tesla Immortals x 5
225 - Deceiver
125 - Triarch Stalker, Twin heavy Gauss Cannon
125 - Triarch Stalker, Twin heavy Gauss Cannon
160 - Doomsday Ark
160 - Doomsday Ark
160 - Doomsday Ark
475 - Pylon
1994 - Total
The general play is to have a fire platform at the back with the heavy guns and the immortals walking forward to try and clear the chaff.
The main point of the deceiver is so i can mix up the plan on the fly depending on the opponent.

How do you get Tessla immortals for 15 points each?
they're listed in the codex as 8 points per model and 9 points for the tessla carbine, so 17 points.
or is there something in chapter approved that I haven't read?
edited for an autocorrect nightmare

Yea all the leaks are out with our new points. This should be fairly accurate for points with the leaks

I don't see the Deciever pulling his weight here. Redeploying is a neat trick, but unless you're using in to push something up the board, I don't see how he justifies his cost (and you have nothing that wants pushing up the board).
I'd drop him, fill out that last Immortal squad and sneak three destroyers in there. Ideally you want 6, but you'd have to drop an Ark to do that.
Also what dynasty you playing? Looks like a Nihilakh list, in which case I'd say drop the Deceiver and one of the Stalkers for 6 destroyers and 4 scarabs.

Thats a lot of anti armour. I don't think you need 2 stalkers, 3 DDA and a gauss pylon.

Well to me the pylon is the only dedicated anti armor unit.
The doomsdays are also good gun boats with the gauss, and the str 10 when needed while the tanks are still around.
The stalkers for 125 are more a support for reroll 1's for the added benefit of hurting knights better.
Before the codex, I had a list with 4 doomsdays, a tesseract ark and a pylon. and 2 brass scorpions and magnus list still walked over my anti tank. so honestly free you cant have too many options. Though they need to serve another function after the main target is dead.

I'd drop the deceiver. Your long ranged guns are REALLY long ranged, you wont even need to move to shoot.
Use those points to fill out that third immortal squad, and buy a scarab screen to keep your guns shooting against things like hypersonic genestealers or da jumping boys.
Also, ditch the Hyperlogical Strategist WL Trait...We really don't have enough CP to make it worthwhile. Frankly. Its a trap. We use our CP quickly and early normally. So, your use of it will be very limited. I'd take immortal pride instead. Make your opponent wipe out every last one of your infantry if they want the squad gone, with the final dudes next to your cryptek for better RP should they live, considering they're only likely to take some limited fire considering the big guns you have available. Added benefit of getting a deny the witch roll against a key power like catalyst, or hypnotic gaze from GSC which would keep you from overwatching.

Reason I choose the deceiver, is because I feel that setting up half the army as if going turn one and the other half as going turn 2, then moving things accordingly, is very valuable.
Also if against another gunline army, putting the doomsdays ready to rapid fire has its strengths. Not just a long range cannon.
The main reason ive moved this way, is after playing eldar at the last glasshammer tournament. the redeploying their shining spears out of line of sight when i got first turn, really hurt my plans. And feel this is a strength we can replicate with the deceiver.
That being said, Will make a list with out the deceiver and see how it works in comparison. As everything is still theory as not had time to practice the lists. Doesnt hurt to try huh

Been reading the new mission from Chapter approved. and have come to the conclusion that the deceiver is to valuable. So will be in every list i use from now till missions say other wise
(Deploy army all in one go, and who deploys first goes first. with person deploying second choosing deployment and can counter deploy)

Deceiver is undoubtedly great, I just don't think your list has the tools to take advantage of his greatness. Like at best you're paying 225 pts to throw a couple of Immortal units up the board to get shot off. Sure it allows you to rearrange your lines if you seize/get seized on, but it's still a hefty tax for that. But yeah, fair enough, let us know how it goes. I'd love the big gold boy to see more table time.
