Here is my new project, an Inquisition army. Since the first daemonhunters codex i always have wanted to start an army of fanatics, zealous priests with tons of purity seals and relics. So here I am, starting this army with my big box of bitz.

The army is led by Inquisitor Tännenberg, a young inquisitor who hates psykers and who is known for his ferocity and his purges.

Inquisitor Tännenberg

Inquisitor Tännenberg, known as the "Gynesia Butcher" is a man from the planet Styresis, who comes from the Attila border system. He is an inquisitor rather young for his profession, aging 50. He is a brutal man, cold and methodical, he is known to use all means at his disposal to achieve his objectives, which many times has cost the lives of many innocent citizens.

His nickname come from the purge he led on Gynesia City State. After conducting an investigation and interrogations for 3 years in order to eliminate a chaotic sect, he realized that the city was gangrenous to its highest hierarchy. At the head of the imperial planetary forces, he passed the whole city by the bayonets. He would have said "Kill them all, the Emperor will recognize his own".

He has a particular aversion to psykers and regards them as abject creatures, this dislike was apparently fueled by the loss of his right arm in his duel against the Silesius plague sorcerer.



I have painted him few years ago so i have to add some details and change his base.

Jakob MANNFELD, security chief of the inquisitor

Mannfeld hails from the wild planet Mitridhatus, from the ICHAR IV border system, he joined the Astra Militarum at a very young age and joins the Scions unit, where he has distinguished himself many times, earning him many honors. Mannfeld has a strong personnality, which will earn him many conflicts with his hierarchy. He fought alongside Tännenberg during Gynesia's purge and saved his life, which cost him his left eye. Tännenberg saved his life by saving Mannfeld from being shot after a vendetta that cost Governor Ixvs Potlemk his life. Since that day, Mannfeld has followed the Inquisitor as his shadow and never leaves his favorite beret and his mythical cigar.



ZAKARIAN PRUSICHO, Hierophant

Prusicho is a discreet man, he entered in Tännenberg service very early and lists all the glorious deeds of Tännenberg. His function is to facilitate the investigations of his master and can not help but collect all the things he sees in writing and archive them. In addition, he deals with all the diplomatic and relational interfaces allowing the Inquisitor to carry out his missions.



LUCIUS MARNID, Pilot

Lucius Marnid is a man of light morals and easy laughter. His small size does not affect his ability to shoot and fight. According to his detractors, he would have a strong fondness for alcohol and debauchery. Tânnenberg, however, turns a blind eye to the vices of the pilot because Marnid is an emeritus pilot who has saved him many times from the clutches of the dangers, Marnid has a foolproof cold blood and an ability of improvisation out of the ordinary which is vital in certain situations.



JULIUS SIGITUR, Cardinal

Julius Sigitur is a native of Sacro Saint Terra, he entered the service of the imperial clergy from an early age and quickly turned towards the armed arm of the ecclesiarchy, where he was assigned to the master Inquisitor of Tännenberg. His ultra-radical vision, which was equal to that of the master of the young inquisitor, probably influenced him. Sigitur is an indispensable asset for Tännenberg because of his qualities as a preacher, but also because of his qualities as an investigator. Despite his advanced age, the cardinal is not left out when it is necessary to fight the heretics he then enters a sacrosanct frenzy, purifying the heretics by the flames.

I like it, your characters have plenty of flavour and the fluff only adds to it.
