Hello all,

as stated in the title my model of Amallyn Shadowguide has broken twice in the short time I've owned it. So I've decided she's gonna lose the stupid pose and be converted. Does anyone have any advice?

Now bare in mind, I've never even owned an Eldar model the entire time I've played until now and I'll be converting it with no elvish looking parts.

I don't know if you're linking your Instagram to show off the model but your account is private.

Search eBay for bits or search bits websites for a suitable sniper rifle replacement. Other than that, I suggest you pin the rifle barrel to the body of the gun.

Way too small to pin. Many of the Blackstone Fortress minis have...unnecessarily spindly/tiny bits. It's really frustrating, they're quite bad as actual gaming figures - atrocious for board game figures. GW is trying too hard with many of these.

I pinned my fincast rangers, is her long rifle smaller than those?

So I had a bit of a go at repairing the model. The only eldar-like weapons and feminine parts I could find amongst my models were the House Escher bits from Necromunda.

Here is the original and what I've done with it so far:

I think lore-wise, I've committed some sort of heresy using a lasgun as a basis for an eldar weapon. Anyway, it is still a work in progress, so any ideas are welcome to finish the model off.

It's fine. Eldar used to have lasguns!
