Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

Hey folks!
A Tyranid friend of mine was telling me that he was getting massacred in a game the other night, which confuses me because I can't see how a Tyranid player can lose if they understand how Tyranids work.
-Tyranids show up at a world.
-They eat everything.
-They poop out more Tyranids.
-They eat more stuff.
-When the world is entirely biomass, they ship back to orbit and move on.
If a Tyranid player sticks with this fundamental understanding of Tyranid behavior, you can't lose. Let's say that you put down your tyranid army against an enemy chaos marine army. Do the same thing that Tyranids do.
-Show up at the table.
-Start eating your opponents models.
-Poop out plastic-infused reinforcements.
-That former Greater Nurgle is now a brown Carnifex!
-Rinse and repeat as needed.
-When your opponent's army is entirely biomass, you've won the game.
Plot spoiler: You may win earlier in the game if your opponent and his army flee.

There's a huge wrench in your plans... Something like 99% of nids cant poop.
That said they used to say you could put a carnifex in a sock and use that to beat your opponent. Probably not a subtle as using oranges though.

You have to use the old pewter one though the plastic ones don't have enough heft... :-)

Not really an appropriate thread for the tactics subforum and consumption of your opponents models (or ones own) is not advisable.
This thread is now locked.
