I haven't played 40K since 3rd edition, and I just recently started playing again - WOW. There are so many rules revisions and new stuff it's overwhelming. Anyway, I hope I can find some help on these threads! My favorite (and only) army is Necrons so I will be on those forums the most - if anyone has any links for current Necron articles and tactics I would greatly appreciate it!

It says to tell a little about me, so here goes:

I work in non-profits, not only as a Director of my own non-profit, but also on the Board of Directors for several others as well. My skills are mostly in strategic planning and development. I focus mostly on humanitarian services - emergency shelter, food, clothing, adult education, children services, etc. I am also on the Leadership council at HOPE&STAND Church. Our church is all about the love of Jesus - not cramming condescending views down the throats of others. We don't preach at people or judge them in anyway, we just love and accept them for who they are. Im married with two kids. I love all kinds of gaming! Though due to my busy schedule, I really only have time for DnD 5e and 40K at the moment. (We do have a gaming Small Group at my church I lead, so that's fun!)

Your wish is my command: 8th Edition Necron Chatter. Be warned, that's a 235 page thread. You can post in it and get some help with Necrons though!

My advice:

-Do some browsing, looking for Necron players who look like they know what they're talking about.
-Check out the Army building sub-forum; take a look at some of the necron armies.
-Strike up a private conversation with some of those Necron players that you think could give you some mentoring.

I'm new back to 8th edition, but when I last played in 5th edition, I played close combat Necrons (Wraith-Wing) and they were an absolute blast.
